Showing More Skin For Summer

Of course during the summer it's the time to show off what you've got with tanks and shorts, but with crop tops getting shorter and tighter your mid section is the part of your body to show off this summer. Now you have to be careful to not get carried away with this look because you can do it in a cute, simple way or you can end up looking a little skimpy. It's best to wear these tops with a high waisted skirt or pair of shorts to not show off too much skin like in the outfits above. I think if you can pull it off it's a definite go for the super hot days in the summer!☺

Collar Craze!

I am in love with this new trend that has actually succeeded and grown more and more from the fall season to now! As the craze has gained more popularity it has changed and been seen in multiple cuts/shapes, colors and embellishments (pearls, studs, rhinestones, sequins, etc.) They can be attatched to a blouse or dress, OR you can also buy them seperately as necklaces to wear with whatever top you want! I would take advantage of this trend while it lasts and make it your own!♦

Cat Couture?

Who seriously would have thought that having cats on your clothes would be such a big hit? I've seen cat shirts, leggings, jewelry, shoes, etc. Anything you can think of, it's most likely out there! I definitely think it's cute and more of a quirky stlye. I've seen some people tend to overdo it with the cats, but some have done it very well. I woudln't go out and buy a ton of cat stuff because this trend is due to decline quickly, but one or two garments will do fine until then if you want to keep up with the cat lovers!

Studs Galore!

Studs, spikes & other embellishments are appearing on EVERYTHING from head to toe! Any garment you can think of now has studs on it and adds a bit of that extra detail to a boring sweater or pair of jean shorts. Even accessories are being made of just studs like bracelets, necklaces and earrings. A lot of people think that the stud idea is being overdone, but I happen to love it especially because I like to have an edgier style.

DENIM

The denim shirt has become a staple item in most wardrobes these days. Ever since the fall season differenct cuts and dyes of the denim shirt have been produced and seen in all stores, and worn by every type of girl no matter their style! Denim shirts are so easy to make as your own as seen in the photo above of four different fashion bloggers, each wearing a denim shirt in their own way and incorporating it into their own wardrobe. Not only are denim shirts in style but denim anything especially for the spring & summer! Vests, jackets, skirts, shorts and even dresses!♥

*Winter Prints*

I got a pair of leggings like this for Christmas and absoloutely loved them! I didn't see other people that had them and was the only one out of my friends to have any so I was surprised when I came back to campus to see quite a few other girls wearing them. The styles vary slightly with different winter prints like snowflakes and reindeer and multiple colors. It's nice to see people utilizing patterns more and the great thing about these leggings is how thick, warm and comfy they are for cold days on campus!

Tights! Tights! Tights!

Printed tights are the perfect accessory to add to an outfit that needs more of a WOW to it or to make an outfit you feel as boring to a whole nother level! I've seen them a lot lately paired with not only skirts and dresses, but shorts too. I feel like you can never have enough and there's so many different ways to mix and match them to have cute and quirky outfits. Forever 21 has so many different designs and colors that don't cost much and I would recommend going there since you never know when your tights may run or get a hole!
